Welcome to the Spartan Student Congress Agenda. Here, you will find the agenda for each SSC meeting. Students can also easily submit feedback and suggestions to SSC Reps from this page.
A Letter From Mr. Danner:
Welcome to Congress!
It is with great joy, that I welcome you all to the 5th Spartan Student Congress. You have been hand selected by student and teacher leaders to be a part of this congress. By choosing you, your fellow Spartans have voiced their confidence and pledged their support for you. You are privileged to be in this class, and it is my privilege to facilitate it. Over the last year, I have had the chance work with many of you, and I look forward to working with you again. For those of you who are new to SSC, I speak for our Veteran Reps, when I say we are excited to have you on the team.
As a starting point for this coming school year, let's understand two points:
1. The school year will be as good as we work hard.
Before we get into anything, we need to establish a line of communication. Students can connect with each other, through whatever means is most convenient, but communication with Mr. Danner will be done through Remind. Remind is a tool that allows students and teachers to text each other, without the need to exchange phone numbers. This is the easiest way to send and receive messages from Mr. Danner, and I will use it often.
Here is a tentative rough SSC agenda for the first month back to school.
Besides the Spartan Social, our first month back is focused on getting organized, and part of that is figuring out who will be our Spartan Council Officers. Interested students will have a chance to square off and prove to the Spartan Student Body that they are the candidate most worthy of their vote. Those students interested in running for office should start by reviewing the Campaigns page and reading about available positions. There will be more information to come, as the summer moves along, so stay in touch.
